Welcome back! I hope everyone had a great break.

In Math we are revisiting sorting, this time with our 3D shapes too!

In Science we are learning about magnets and performing experiments to find out what objects are magnetic and what are not.

In Reading we are focusing on finding beginning and ending sounds in our names. We are also starting a new tradition of Fairy Tale Friday where we are going to be reading a new fairy tale every week. Our sight words this week are he, she, said and big. I will be sending a list of blue words home with students who finished their yellow words already.

In Writing we are continuing to work on writing complete sentences and telling stories.

In Social Studies we are starting to learn about historical heroes starting with Christopher Columbus this week.
