The Week of Oct. 10 - Oct. 14

This week in math we will continue to focus on making groups of 1-5 objects. You can practice this at home by having your child make groups of various small objects and counting them for you.

In Science, we are learning about the basic needs of living things.

During our Reading Workshop time we are going to learn about the -og word family. Ask your child how many words they can name from the family. The sight words for the week are the, cat and dog.

In Writing Workshop we are working on labeling and making lists. A good way to practice at home is having your child help you make the grocery list or a list of your family members.

During Social Studies, we are talking about bullying and friends.
